Overview
Shanghai Guanghua Hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine (上海市光华中西医结合医院), affiliated with Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is a Grade 3A specialized hospital in Changning District with a distinctive focus on integrating traditional Chinese medicine with modern Western medicine. Founded in 1958, it is nationally recognized for its excellence in rheumatology and autoimmune disease, orthopedics and joint disease, pain management, rehabilitation medicine, and integrative medicine. Its rheumatology department — combining herbal medicine, acupuncture, and Western immunosuppressive therapy — is a national benchmark for integrative rheumatology care, attracting patients with rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, ankylosing spondylitis, and other autoimmune conditions.

Shanghai Guanghua Hospital operates from its main campus:
- Main Campus — 540 Xinhua Road, Changning District. All specialist departments are concentrated here, including rheumatology, orthopedics, pain management, rehabilitation, and the integrative medicine center.
All services are at the single main campus. Plan travel and accommodation near Changning District accordingly.
