The ophthalmology department is a national key clinical specialty and national ophthalmology training center operating a comprehensive eye clinic, a glaucoma center, a retinal disease center, a cataract and refractive surgery center, an ocular oncology program, a cornea and ocular surface clinic, a neuro-ophthalmology clinic, a pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus program, an oculoplastic and orbital surgery program, and works in close collaboration with neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, and endocrinology through a fully integrated multidisciplinary team.
