About the Department
FUCH's hematology and oncology department is a national key clinical specialty operating dedicated pediatric hematology-oncology inpatient wards, a bone marrow transplantation unit (BMT), a CAR-T cell therapy program, a comprehensive outpatient hematology-oncology clinic, a pediatric oncology MDT, and works in close collaboration with pediatric surgery, radiation oncology, pathology, and molecular diagnostics through a fully integrated multidisciplinary team.
The department's bone marrow transplantation program is one of the most experienced in China for pediatric patients, performing allogeneic and autologous transplants for leukemia, lymphoma, and non-malignant hematological conditions. The CAR-T cell therapy program offers chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy for relapsed/refractory B-cell ALL and other hematological malignancies, representing one of the most advanced cellular therapy programs available for children in China. Faculty members publish regularly in leading pediatric oncology journals including Journal of Clinical Oncology, Blood, Leukemia, Pediatric Blood & Cancer, and British Journal of Haematology.
